The train will leave the country through the Horgos Port and arrive in Hamburg, Germany, with an estimated transportation time of about 15 days. This is the first time that domestically produced new energy vehicles have been exported to Europe by Chengdu China-Europe trains, meeting the market demand for China's new energy vehicles to "go global" and increase sales in Europe.

The first domestically produced new energy vehicle to be exported to Europe by Chengdu China-Europe Express is NIO. "Previously, exports were basically shipped by sea, but this time we took Chengdu China-Europe Express to transport it, which has increased the speed." A person from the company said that on October 7, NIO announced that it would start providing services to the four countries of Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden. "Chengdu China-Europe Express provides logistics and transportation services for new energy vehicles, which will provide more diverse logistics options for the company's overseas business."

"At present, my country's new energy vehicles are developing rapidly. Chengdu China-Europe Express has seized the opportunity, strengthened marketing, and launched the first export business of domestic new energy vehicles." A relevant person in charge of Chengdu International Railway Train Co., Ltd. said that when accepting the first batch of domestic new energy vehicle export needs, Chengdu International Railway Train Co., Ltd. formulated a complete transportation plan, and strengthened communication and cooperation with railway departments, customs and overseas service providers in advance on transportation loading services and port connection to ensure safe and stable transportation of trains. This month, Chengdu China-Europe Express will also successively ship new energy vehicles of brands such as Volkswagen, Honda, Ford, and Polestar, realizing the normal transportation of two trains of new energy vehicles per week.

The relevant person in charge of the Chengdu International Railway Port said that the advantages of new energy vehicles in terms of economy and environmental protection will further support Chinese brands to "take root" overseas and help China's automobile exports continue to heat up. "Through the Chengdu China-Europe Express, more and more models and brands will be exported to more and more destinations."

The person in charge introduced that relying on the high-quality development of Chengdu China-Europe Express, Chengdu International Railway Port has fully utilized the advantages of open channels and successively undertaken national-level automobile trade pilot projects such as parallel automobile import pilot and second-hand car export pilot, and has achieved full coverage of automobile trade formats such as parallel automobile import, second-hand car export, import and export of Chinese-standard vehicles and import and export of spare parts, and has achieved import and export of more than 20,000 complete vehicles in total.
